Step1 Warm up and revision

1. Everyday English

Duty report: weather, what day, date, favorite season, etcT: Why do like spring?What clothes do we wear in spring?

Free talk:We wear different clothes in different seasons. Where can we buy clothes?

Ss: The clothes shop.

Sing a song: The clothes shop

2. Brain storm:What kinds of clothes do you know?(The Ss say the first, then show the words.)

New words: coat, dress, shirt, sweater, gloves, jeans, shorts, trousers

3. T: Look, whats this?

   Ss: Its a dress.

   T: Whose dress is this? Do you want to know? Today well learn Unit 6 Whose dress is this?

Step 2 Presentation

1. Listen and answer

Q1: Whose dress is this? Its Su Hais.

Q2: What clothes are in this dialogue?(Listen and circle)

2. Read and fill

Tips: too是副词,表示“太”。

Oral: Can you make some phrases with too?

3. Pair work:

4. Watch and complete

Step 3 Learn and practice

Show the pictures.

T: We can see some students in the pictures. Look at Yang Ling. Shes an angel today, and Mike is a pirate.What about Su Yang? Shes a rabbit. Why do they dress like this today? Because they are at a fancy dress perty today.

Tip: Fancy dress party

Fancy dress party指“化妆舞会”,大家可以把自己装扮成喜欢的人物模样参加舞会。

1.Try to read after the tape.

2.Read together.

3.Read in roles.

4.Try to retell the story.
